Ciao!

All grades participate in the vibrant Italian program at least once a week.

Learning a new language is made lots of fun through songs, stories, role plays, drawings, games and rhymes.

During the specialist sessions children learn how to:

• Use basic Italian to meet, greet, and farewell each other
• Express preferences while exploring topics such as food, games, and sport
• Use bilingual dictionaries and other language resources
• Learn Italian numbers, colours, shapes, objects and form simple sentences
• Identify cultural icons, geographic features, famous buildings, and historical personalities of Italy and make simple statements about them in Italian

Italiano è divertimento per tutti!!  Italian is lots of fun for everyone!!
