BULLYING

Footscray West Primary has a ZERO tolerance policy on bullying.

Every child has the right to feel safe and secure. The Footscray West Wellbeing Policy is designed to:

• develop mutual respect for the rights and feelings of self and others
• build reslience
• foster co-operation across the school community. 

We are proud of Footscray West’s diversity and the dynamic and supportive culture created by valuing and modelling respect for all students, staff, families, the community, personal property, and the environment.

In the event of any incidences of bullying the school has clear policies on supervision and established protocols for the mediation and counselling of victims and bullies, the involvement of parents, and following through consequences for bullying.
