ART

Art classes are a highlight of most students’ week.

The program includes:

• Using different mediums and techniques to create a range of two and three dimensional works
• Working individually and co-operatively to realise projects from start to finish
• Participating in Art Appreciation activities where students learn about artists and their works from a variety of periods and cultures
• Working together as a whole school to create the biennale Footscray West Art Show

The dedicated art/craft room is a great space for children to explore their creativity and imagination, develop conceptual and planning skills, and master techniques.

The Art room provides smocks and materials for all activities. Offers to wash smocks and donate useful materials are very welcome!
